That such camps are being readied is proof that can no longer be ridiculed as “conspiracy theory,” but most Christians didn’t see it coming because of Bible texts they thought was about a rapture.

Deceived preachers like Harold Camping have isolated texts like “one shall be taken and the other left” (Matthew 24:40) without seeing the companion passage has an additional verse—the disciples asked, Where, Lord? And He answered them, Where the body is, there shall the vultures be gathered,” Luke 17:37. This is not about a rapture, and we have overlooked passages that warn of the “abomination of desolation.” (Matt 24:15, military-forced compliance under New World Order?)

The Bible (all-time best-seller) could be ahead of the morning news. Matthew 24:32-51 may be re-read with the idea of an induced national emergency (“as in the days of Noah” when there was wide-spread destruction) and martial law may be declared. In that context, America could wither like the fig tree in Christ’s parable of Matthew 21:19, when the evil servant begins to smite his fellow servants, Matt 24:49.

Understanding the laws of nature and physics has put men on the moon. But when it comes to personal relationships and our need of self-control to live in harmony with moral laws, it’s often like an effort to escape reality in a space capsule made by a drug company–we are spaced out.

In the equation of life’s relationship with others, happiness comes from meeting real needs and giving more than we get. Women often understand this better than men as they provide so much for the home . They buy the food, prepare the meals, clean the house, do the laundry and administer the rules by which their children learn to live. These activities require giving more than getting. Women are usually happy if they get some help and emotional support in return.

So where is mother today? Too often, she is yanked outside her primary area to help pay bills. The greatest men in history testify to the fact that the hand that rocks the cradle rules the world. We are in the midst of a great social experiment proving that we reap what we sow and that we cannot alter the laws of life to suit our convenience or our misguided emphasis in life.

If there is a meaning to physical phenomena, the earthquakes that are increasing and growing stronger, are a testimony to the fact that the foundations of our world are crumbling and that only those things built on solid rock will stand in the end.

The lawlessness and rebellion that are rampant throughout the world testify to the need of a better law than what senators or congressmen make for themselves or special interest groups.

The central figure at the top of the entrance to the U.S. Supreme Court is Moses holding the 10 Commandments. Those two tables of stone are more profound and basic to live than we have realized. They put into perspective our duty to the Creator, to one another, and to things.

We are turning the world upside down as we put things first, others second and God last. There is nothing so unhappy and miserable as an old person who has lived life with a focus on self. By contrast, those who enjoy their golden years most have been givers in enduring relationships.

Actually the Ten Commandments are not rules so much as principles. The commandment that says to honor father and mother teaches respect for all properly constituted authority. The Savior magnified the law when he equated anger towards someone without a cause as murder, and looking lustfully at a woman as murder.

Could we be stealing when we don’t give our employer our best for the time we are paid? Women like to talk, but much talk also breaks the principle of being truthful. Society’s lawlessness today may be due to preachers who failed to see the rightful role of the law as a schoolmaster that brings us to Christ. In bringing souls to Christ, preachers have had a graduation where the schoolmaster is kicked out of school rooms (and courtrooms ). But commencement means beginning and we need to see how that law applies to all of life, not as a method to earn salvation, but as a standard to live by for health and happiness.

Millions today are enslaved to self in many forms. It doesn’t so much matter what Bible translation we have. The Bible is still the best-seller and this year is the 400^th anniversary of the King James Version. Applying the cornflake ad to the Ten Commandments, why not turn to Exodus 20 and taste them again for the first time?

Christ’s wedding parables imply a similar impending Exodus for end-times when “the Bridegroom comes.”

Israel’s 390 years of apostasy (Ezekiel 4:5) and the promise of 7-fold punishment if they walked contrary (Leviticus 26:18), make 2730 years that began with the Assyrian Captivity in 720 BC (Google). bringing us to 2010, but there was no year “0,” the period ends in 2011, says Ruhling.

Seventh-day Adventists should be interested because their prophetess’ last book title was “The Captivity and Restoration of Israel” by Ellen White. But theological controversy in the church meant non-acceptance of her title so it was changed after her death to “Prophets and Kings” in 1917, thus effacing her message.

White took her title from the Bible: “Lo the days come, saith the LORD, that I will bring again the captivity of my people, Israel and Judah, and cause them to return to the land that I gave their fathers, and they shall possess it…in the latter days ye shall consider it.” Jeremiah 30:3,24.

This is the context for the New Covenant Promise. Millions of Christians claim that God will give them a new heart, but they haven’t noticed the end-time context to qualify, says Ruhling. “He that scattered Israel will gather him and keep him as a shepherd does his flock…your children will come again to their own border.” Jeremiah 31:1,10,17,31-33.

Christians in general and Seventh-day Adventists in particular, have an assumption that the weekly cycle has existed since creation, but the following information offers evidence to the contrary, and I’m offering $100 to the first person who can post a text of Scripture here

to show where the 7th-day Sabbath fell on any other day than the 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd or 29th of any month, except the Creation Sabbath which was the 7th-day of that week. (That Sabbath was Adam’s first full day; it was like a new moon that begins our months.)

Is it a coincidence that the Sabbaths mentioned in the Bible fall on the 8th, 15th, or 22nd of the month and that we can’t find any reference to them falling on any other day? Here’s an examples–when they came out of Egypt, that first day of unleavened bread on the 15th of Abib was a Shabbath, (Strong’s 7676, as shown for Leviticus 23:11. Coincidence?

NO! It can’t be a coincidence because in the 2nd month, the 15th day was also a Sabbath when God said He would send them manna for six days and none on the Sabbath, Exodus 16:1.26. This could never happen with our Gregorian Calendar from Rome–not a coincidence!

Our calendar won’t allow Sabbath on the 15th of any two consecutive months except for Feb/March. If the New Moon falls on March 1, then March 15 could also be a Sabbath, otherwise our calendars don’t fit the Bible format when the New Moon was to be “the beginning of months.” Exodus 12:2.

I am making a huge change–my webpage, www.LunarCalendar.netfirms.com has been wrong to give 10 Reasons Why the Lunar Calendar is wrong, because it now looks right to me and I plan to take my webpage down in a month if nobody can claim the $100 by showing a Bible example where any Sabbath since creation coincides with any other day in the month than the New Moon, the 8th, 15th, 22nd or 29th.

I’m sending this email to SDA leaders (General Conference men and local conference presidents) for them to see the problem we have with a Roman calendar what won’t fit the Bible’s formating.

The problem for some people is the extra day at the end which means an incomplete week before the [new] moon signals the next month and the start of another cycle. But the language of Lev 23:15 supports the existence of incomplete weeks then as it specifies 7 “complete” weeks to Pentecost (we just don’t count those that are not complete.)

This is not a “test of fellowship” now, but it’s an opportunity to study the matter before it is an issue… maybe even as early as next year! Here’s why–”The Gregorian calendar…was introduced by Pope Gregory XIII, …by a decree signed on 24 February 1582.” (Wikipedia)

God took Israel out of Egypt 430 years to the day from when they entered Egypt, Exodus 12:41.

From 1582 when Rome gave us this calendar, 430 years bring us to next year! when both Israel (Christians who will accept torah) and Judah (Jews who accept Messiah) may end their prophetic 430 years, Ezekiel 4:5,6. I think we should be promoting an expectancy of an Exodus2, a coming out of Babylon (fallen systems of medicine, education, government, religion [and calendar] for next year, even as Israel contemplated and got ready for the Exodus well before it happened.

PS: An additional advantage of God’s lunar calendar is that it enables the observance of Passover, the Feast of Trumpets (“Blow up the trumpet in the New Moon, Psalm 81:3) and the Feast of Tabernacles to fall on 7th-day Sabbaths) These institutions were designed to teach truths in the plan of salvation, but on Rome’s calendar, they often fell in the middle of a week and were more difficult to observe, but we’ve been missing much by ignoring them…

“They were designed to teach the people that at the time appointed One would come to whom those ceremonies pointed.” Christ’s Object Lessons, p 34. “The types which relate to the second advent must be fulfilled at the time pointed out in the symbolic service.” Great Controversy, p 399.9

Here’s just one examples. The New Moon (crescent) was in the sky the eve of October 1, 2008 when the US Senate met and approved $760 billion in bailout money to corrupt banks. Anciently they blew trumpets for 10 days till the Day of Atonement, Leviticus 23:24. The stock market crashed for 10 days (excepting weekends). We may have focused on our money (General Conference lost millions, more than they want to admit) and though the events were shouting it, we saw no significance to God’s calendar, forgetting that “In the time of the end, every divine institution is to be restored.” Prophets & Kings, p 678/

You might want to watch for the New Moon (thin crescent seen in the western sky about 30 minutes after sunset) this Sunday evening. “Blow up the trumpet in the New Moon!” Psalm 81:3. Sunday evening and Monday (moon day from Rome) happens to be the start of the 5th Jewish month–more about something timely in the 5th month next time–may God bless your study of His Word.
